About MeristemLab
I’m Andrew. I built MeristemLab for my own tissue-culture laboratory, and it has grown with the lab: what began as our own production records is now a fully configurable system that other labs run on. We bring each new lab on board ourselves, one at a time, and keep working with it so the software does what that lab needs. We are selective about who we work with and do not sell to the bulk market. How we work

- Each lab’s data is separated in the database, and support access is recorded in the lab’s audit log.
- The roadmap follows what the labs using it ask for at the bench.
Where it is going
The records are in place: lineage, vessel labels, media batches, contamination, locations, orders, roles and an audit trail. What comes next is the production layer a commercial lab buys on: a work list for each person and station, planning that generates the week’s subcultures and the media they need, losses by cause and hood, reports, costing and invoicing, and evidence packs shaped for the Australian nursery accreditation schemes. Then offline use on a phone.
